CLTA members have recently noticed an alarming rise in “Yellow Pages” or “Supply Chain” fraud in California and elsewhere around the country. “Supply Chain” fraud involves making a payment to what you might believe to be a legitimate vendor, only to find out later that the vendor listing was fraudulent and the payment instead went to a recipient that has no business affiliation to the vendor whatsoever.
