Announcing CLTA's New Online User Portal…
INCLUDING Online Convention Registration

The CLTA is proud to announce its new “Online User Portal”. The brand new service, which is accessible via a password protected portal on the CLTA website, streamlines many CLTA member functions and provides individuals with the capability to update their contact information, register for CLTA events, purchase products from the CLTA Online Store, browse committees and more!
Individual user accounts have already been created for Home Office contacts, Board and Committee members, Associate members, Affiliate members and Directory contacts (1st person listed).
The CLTA Online User Portal Login and Profile Setup Guide will walk users through the online account login and profile setup* process. Once those users with existing accounts have taken the steps to request and establish their new password, they will be able to access their account and begin using the new features within the Online User Portal. Additionally, users who do not have an existing account may create one by clicking on the “login” link on the CLTA’s homepage where they will be taken to the Portal. From that screen users can click, “Create a User Account” and go through the steps to complete the account setup.
Of importance, the Portal is a work in progress and CLTA staff is continuing to work on upgrading existing features while adding new ones. Also of note, the existing “Members Only” section of the CLTA website is still in existence and, for the time being, will remain separate from the Portal. The login credentials to access that portion of the site remain the same. (Please send an email to mail@clta.org if you need to re-obtain the login credentials).
Sections within the Portal include:
My Profile
- View/edit contact information
- Change Password
My Membership
- Type: lists the type of membership associated with your individual user account.
- For Affiliate members, the “Member Since” field should be populated with the date you most recently joined the CLTA.
- Search Membership Directory
- At this time, users are able to search within their own membership type (i.e., Affiliate members can search for other Affiliate members; Regular members can search for other Regular member contacts). This area will be undergoing further developments. To search the official 2013 CLTA Directory, we recommend you go to CLTA’s online Directory page.
My Committees
- For current committee members, the Committee(s) in which they serve will appear in this section.
- Browse Committees – a user can click on this link, then click on the Committee they wish to view and then view the first and last name of individual Committee members.
Subscriptions – UNDER CONSTRUCTION
- View my subscriptions. If a user has a subscription to a CLTA publication tied to their individual email account, their subscription(s) will be listed here. If you have any questions about your existing subscriptions, please contact us by email at mail@clta.org or by phone at 916-444-2647.
- Please note that the subscription area of the Portal needs further developing. We hope to introduce the “digital center” to members and subscribers this summer where users will be able to purchase and track subscriptions online and subsequently gain access to publications through the Portal using their personal login credentials. For the time being, the P&E Forms and the Manual (available to Regular and Associate title company members only) still remain in CD Rom format.
My Account
- Outstanding/Credit Balance. Initially, this will be $0.00 for every user. In the future, CLTA may send invoices electronically and this section is dedicated to that purpose.
- Last payment. If a user registers for an event or purchases a product through the Portal, the history of purchases will be displayed in this section.
Events
- Convention registration can now be completed online through the Portal!
- To register online, users must first complete the Online Account Login and Profile Setup (see above*).
- To register for the Convention, users will need to click on “Annual Convention 2013”.
- Then click on “Register for this Event” and follow the prompts.
- Last Registration. Initially, there will be nothing in this section for any users. In the future, this section will display the most recent event an individual user registered for.
- Browse Events. This section will allow users to see the programs that CLTA has available. We invite you to check this section often as we do offer webinar programs at least quarterly.
- View My Event Registrations. This is a historical tracking of all events an individual has registered for.
Donations
- Make a Donation. Through this link, an individual user can make an individual (not corporate) donation to the CLTA Political Action Committee.
- View Donation History. This is a historical tracking of all donations an individual has made to the CLTA-PAC.
My CEU Credits
- This section will be tied to future CLTA Educational programs that offer MCLE or PD credits. This section does not contain any past historical information, but will track credits on a future basis.
