ALTA has partnered with Lifetime's Designing Spaces TV show to explain to consumers the value of title insurance and the closing process.
The five-minute segment titled "Protecting Your Best Investment: Knowledge is Power”, features ALTA Past President Anne Anastasi of Genesis Abstract and ALTA member Marlen Rodriguez of Universal Land Title. The program will appear at 7:30 a.m. (ET/PT) Thursday, April 26 and Friday, June 8.
“Homeowners invest their time and money to make their home beautiful and functional, it’s important they protect that investment,” said Michelle Korsmo, chief executive officer of ALTA. “By partnering with Designing Spaces, we’re hoping to help current and potential homeowners better understand how an Owner’s Policy of Title Insurance protects their homeownership, and give them peace of mind they deserve.”
Since the show is expected to reach over a million potential and current homebuyers, it represents one of the biggest chances the title industry has had to make its case to the general public. The CLTA plans to link the video on its website.
