CLTA Meets with Other Large State Associations

CLTA Executive Vice President Craig Page met with other large state title association mid-month in Chicago. The meeting coordinates state action on issues affecting all of the states and allows the states to shape recommendations to the ALTA. Topics discussed included the CFPB proposed mortgage disclosure rule, upcoming NAIC activity on escrow theft and market conduct and model legislation coming out of the National Conference of Uniform State Laws.
