Homeowner Association Lien Bill Moves to Senate
Assembly Bill 2273 (Wieckowski), which creates deadlines for recording a trustees deed in a common interest development and notifying the association, has passed out of the Assembly. The CLTA removed its opposition to the legislation after successfully getting the author to remove language that would have made a purchaser liable for certain unpaid HOA liens post foreclosure. Once those changes were made, CLTA became neutral.
